大山的呼吸慢了

小溪的轻唱清了

小狗的犬吠隐了

春虫的吟唱可以听到了

我躺在侗家木楼的怀里

安静地睡着了

The Night of Dimen

The mountain’s breath slows down

The creek’s singing gets clear

The dog's barking hidden in darkness

The insects’ chanting is floating in the air

I'm lying in the arms of the wooden house

fell asleep peacefully

地扪生态博物馆

穹顶下

群峰中

小溪边

石子 泥土和小草手拉手

便成了路

木板和木头紧紧相拥

就成了房子和家具

博物馆里唯一的摆设

就是生灵与天地的自然对话

Dimen Eco-Museum

Under the dome

Among the mountains

By the stream

The pebbles, soil, and grass join hand in hand

roads formed

The planks and the wood cling to each other

houses and furniture created

Friendly dialogue between the living things and the Earth

It’s only thing which is shown in Dimen Eco Museum

重庆  相聚与别离

来到山城 我见到了侄儿

这是我来重庆的主要理由

四年前 他来这里求学

四年里 他对重庆的熟悉 仅限于学校周围

只因 他与病毒狭路相逢

而现在 他正准备和这座城市告别

侄儿带我参观他的校园

我们一起走过 司法鉴定中心 图书馆

毓秀湖 罗马广场 和 体育场

我们聊 法律 教育 商业

文学与人生

在重庆 我们一起去看三峡博物馆

重庆人民大礼堂 和周公馆

然后在曾家岩书院 和中山四路的文里书店

度过一个安静的下午

侄儿婉谢了我要送他的书

只因他想轻省地离开

我带走了泰戈尔的《飞鸟集》

只因我在思考一只小小鸟

如何不会迷途

而是可以自由飞往自己的山

Getting together and Parting Away in Chongqing

When I came to the Mountain City, I met my nephew

This is the main reason for my traveling here

Four years ago my nephew came here for his undergraduate degree

In the past four years, he spent his school life in the immediate vicinity

due to the fear of virus

Now he is preparing to say goodbye to the city

My nephew showed me around the campus

We walked through Judicial Authentication Center, Library,

Yuxiu Lake, Roman Forum , and the Stadium

We talked about law, education, business

literature and life

In Chongqing,  we visit the Three Gorges Museum，

The Great Hall of the People of Chongqing, and Zhou Mansion

At Zengjiayan Academy and Wenli Bookstore which located in Zhongshan Fourth Road

We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful afternoon

My nephew gently declined the book which I wanted to give him as a gift

As he wants to leave the city lightly

I took Tagore's Stray Birds from the book store

As I'm thinking about a little bird

How not to go astray

But it can fly to its own mountain with freedom

春游有感---粤黔渝湘出行

广州到榕江

榕江到重庆

重庆到娄底

列车在山体里钻入钻出

手机在网络中一呼一吸

双眼在明暗中一开一合

世界在  合作与冲突

建设与破坏

爱与恨的交织里

一颠一波

Guangzhou to Rongjiang

Rongjiang to Chongqing

Chongqing to Loudi

The train gets in and out of the mountain

The mobile phone breathes in and out on the internet

My eyes open and close in light and darkness

The world is bobbed in

cooperations and conflicts

construction and destruction

love and hatred

（一） 回乡所见

村里的楼房

越来越密了

村里的树

越来越稀了

村里的路

越来越宽了

村里的人

越来越少了

村里的故事

越来越远了

听故事的人

越来越陌生了

What I Saw at My Home Village

Buildings in the village

getting denser

Trees in the village

getting rarer

Roads in the village

getting wider

People in the village

Getting fewer

The stories of the village

getting farther

The listeners of the stories

getting more unfamiliar

（二）晚饭后的乡村散步

太阳下去的时候

村里的路灯醒来了

鸡鸭回窝的时候

村民散步出门了

厚实的水泥路

被花草拥簇着

羞涩地露出真容

田野的虫鸣和蛙声

被泥土捧着

纵情地吐露心声

散步的村民

走过美丽乡村的牌子

走到村头

然后 转身

慢慢走回 日复一日的生活

Walking in the Countryside after Supper

When the sun goes down

The lampposts in the village wake up

When chickens and ducks return to their home

The villagers go out for a walk

The cement concrete roads

Surrounded by flowers and grasses

show their face shyly

The insects and frogs

held by the dirt

confide in each other

The walking villagers

go through the Beautiful Countryside sign

Arrive the edge of the village

Then they turn around

walk back slowly to the repetitive country life

（三） 读书所感

三十二年前 我离开这里

去追逐理想中的功名

三十二年后  我回到这里

像落第的秀才

功名已归尘土

诗书仍是故人

Feelings of Reading

Thirty two years ago, I left the village

to seek fame and other achievements

Thirty-two years later , I came back here

like a failed scholar

I am disillusioned with fame and achievements      

But poems and books are still my old friends

Benjamin Franklin said:

To be humble is to imitate Jesus and Socrates!

When I read this
